LMtrace®, the first online platform for brain cell shape analysis targets drug discovery for brain-related diseases and neurotoxicological screenings. The morphology of brain cells is a strong indicator for their function and health and disease condition. 3dEMtrace is the first online platform for automated reconstruction of large volume electron microscopy (EM) datasets. Modern electron microscopes allow researchers to image the ultrastructure of cells with nanometer resolution and thereby produce hundreds of Gigabytes of data per day. These large and highly complex 3D image datasets cannot be analyzed by hand. 3dEMtrace delivers to our clients detailed reconstructions of the biological machinery of cells such as mitochondria, nuclei, endoplasmic reticulum and synaptic junctions.
