The events took place at ZHAW in Wädesnwil on October 23-24, 2019. More than 160 participants, 16 exhibitors and international academic and industry speakers from USA, UK, China, Hong Kong, Austria and Switzerland shared their ideas, state-of-art research and innovation as well as good food and good company.

TEDD co-organises this conference that will cover a number of priority session topics in both the bio (material)-oriented community of scientists, engineers, clinicians and industry as well as society at large. BIC will feature:
• 3-Day conference program with state-of-the-art overviews, deeper technological insights and often unpublished scientific findings.
• 1-Day parallel session track on Wednesday August 26, 2020 on scientific & technological challenges in the development and translation of tissue-and organ-like technologies.
• 1-Day educational pre-conference seminar (BIS-2020) on Monday August 24, 2020
