During the Annual Meeting 2021 more than 100 participants were coming to join us on site in Wädenswil. In addition to 16 exhibitors the meeting featured 9 speakers from industry, science and associations. They presented research funding programmes in the field of 3Rs (Replace, Reduce, Refine animal experiments) and covered the areas of research, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biofabrication, food and diagnostics.
Among the topics was cellular agriculture, and the latest developments in cultivated meat production, which has the potential to make meat production more sustainable and animal-friendly.
