In 2022, we are full of hope and positivity to reunite and come closer as humans, collaborators, co-creators and friends.

We are excited to organize again a few in-person events in 2022. On the 23rd March 2022, we will visit the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland School of Life Sciences - the first in-person visit since March 2020.

TEDD Annual Meeting 2022 is taking a new shape and is integrated into the Biointerfaces Internationalorganized in Zürich from 13th - 15th September 2022. TEDD and Empa are joining forces to offer a program focusing on microphysiological systems, de novo tissues and organoids.

We are looking forward to seeing you all again soon at one of our events!

TEDD University Visit: University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW School of Life Sciences (HLS)
In the new Campus-Muttenz near Basel, the FHNW School of Life Sciences (HLS) is part of Europe’s largest life sciences centre. Together with our industrial and academic partners, we conduct application-based research addressing key issues in the life sciences sector.

One of the areas of focus is that of tissue engineering in support of drug discovery and research. Our scientists apply cutting-edge technologies to support the development of new drugs, thereby supporting the 3Rs by establishing alternative methods to animal testing. During this visit, we will present current projects and show our guests the available infrastructure.

Announcing TEDD Annual Meeting within Biointerfaces International 2022
This year Empa and TEDD are joining forces to offer a program with a special focus on microphysiological systems, de novo tissues and organoids. We cordially invite you to join us for the Biointerfaces International Conference (BIC) 2022 in September at ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

Call for projects 2022 in 3R - foundation ProCare
