Neues Semester, neue Rektorin und neue Projekte - und es ist nicht mal Mai! Im Bereich Bildung starten zum Beispiel gerade die Projekte vom "Transformative Education Fund" (TEF), der einen einzigartigen kollaborativen Ansatz verfolgt. Wir gratulieren ausserdem den Fellows 2025, präsentieren dir aktuelle Calls und stellen einen KI-Lernbuddy, ein Transkriptionstool für die ZHAW und weitere digitale Perlen vor.

| 'GO' für die ersten TEF-Projekte |
| Der TEF (Transformative Education Fund) bringt ZHAW-Mitarbeitende interdisziplinär zu einem Thema an der Schnittstelle von Bildung und digitaler Transformation zusammen. Speziell: Es wird jeweils selbstständig ein konkreter Schwerpunkt erarbeitet; ausserdem ist das Gefäss kooperativ ausgerichtet (keine Konkurrenz unter den Projekten). Die Umsetzungsphase der ersten Projekte hat in diesen Wochen gestartet - voilà, hier ein Überblick über deren Inhalte: |

| Neue Fellows 2025 |
| Herzlichen Glückwunsch an unsere zehn frischgebackenen Fellows! Zum siebten Mal fördern wir ZHAW-Forschende, die an Projekten zur digitalen Transformation arbeiten. In diesem Jahr sind 5 Forschende Junior- und 5 Senior-Fellows mit PhD-Studierenden und kommen aus 4 verschiedenen Departementen. Finde heraus, wer an welchen Projekten arbeitet. |

| «Exgüsi, wiä?» - Neues Tool für Schweizer Dialekte |
| Das ZHAW Institut für Informatik macht uns das Leben in einem multilingualen und -dialektischen Umfeld einfacher: Mit einem Transkriptionstool wird gesprochene Schweizer Dialektsprache ins Hochdeutsche niedergeschrieben (auch viele weitere Sprachen). Das Tool ist für ZHAW-Mitarbeitende und Studierende kostenlos. |

| "Re:Digital 03" Fake or not? |
| Humor und Wissenschaft: Dieses Projekt kombiniert beides! Comedian Frank Richter befasst sich im neuesten Video mit Fake News. Er unterhält sich u.a. mit Dr. Silke Fürst von der Universität Zürich. Sie erforscht, wie KI die Medien beeinflusst. |

| AI-Coach als Lernbuddy am IAM |
| Stell dir vor: Du hast einen persönlichen Coach, der dir immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Er kennt dich und deine Muster sehr gut – er weiss, wo deine Stärken liegen und wo du Mühe hast. Am Institut für Angewandte Medienwissenschaft (IAM) ist dieses Szenario erstmals Realität: Dieses Frühjahr wird erstmals der AI-Coach Ifakara eingesetzt, um die Studierenden optimal und individuell zu unterstützen. |

| Moodle goes barrierefrei |
| Digitale Barrierefreiheit ermöglicht Bildung und Wissen – für alle. Nach einer intensiven Überarbeitungsphase konnten im ZHAW-Moodle viele Hürden abgebaut werden. Falls du noch Barrieren findest, freuen wir uns über deine Rückmeldung (gehe zu 'Feedback bei Direktlinks'). |

What's special: each project independently develops a specific focus; in addition, it is based on a cooperative mode (no competition between the projects). | Imagine: You have a personal coach who is always available to give you advice and support. They know you and your patterns very well, understand where your strengths lie and where you struggle. At the Institute for Applied Media Studies (IAM), this scenario is now reality for the first time: this spring, the AI coach Ifakara will provide students with optimal and individual support. |
