| Zukünftige Founders und Fellows: Meldet euch! |
| Die Digitalisierungsinitiative der Zürcher Hochschulen (DIZH) unterstützt mit dem Founder-Call innovative Gründungsideen im Bereich der digitalen Transformation mit bis zu CHF 75'000. Gefördert werden frühe "Proof-of-Concept"-Projekte von Studierenden und Mitarbeitenden, die noch kein Spin-off oder Start-up gegründet haben. |

Ausserdem suchen wir bei ZHAW digital nach neuen Fellows, die sich in ihrer Forschung intensiv mit drängenden Themen und Fragen der digitalen Transformation beschäftigen. Bewerben können sich Senior sowie Junior Researcher mit und ohne PhD. Anträge können bis 30. Juni auf der Grantplatform eingereicht werden. |

| Der 2. Juni steht im Zeichen der Bildung: Der erste EduImpulse Day bietet praxisnahe Einblicke, spannende Diskussionen und neue Impulse. In Workshops, Kurzvorträgen und einer Keynote von Rektorin Regula Jöhl geht es unter anderem darum, gemeinsam Bildung im Kontext der digitalen Transformation weiterzudenken: GenAI und XR im Unterricht, Open Educational Resources, Virtual Exchange, und und und. |

| Die Projektteams erforschen und entwickeln digitale Möglichkeiten wie z.B. die Unterstützung von Menschen mit Hörbehinderung, die Entwicklung von nachhaltigen Architekturlösungen und die Bekämpfung von Toxizität in Videospielen. |

| KI@ZHAW: Zwischen Integration und Deklaration |
| Bereits vor zwei Jahren hat die ZHAW mit einer eigenen KI-Richtlinie den Einsatz von KI in Leistungsnachweisen aktiv geregelt. Statt KI zu verbieten, wurden Spielregeln erarbeitet und damit Orientierung geschaffen. Dieser Ansatz hat sich bewährt. Doch die Diskussion rund um die Deklarationspflicht und den erwartbaren KI-Einsatz durch Studierende entwickelt sich laufend weiter. Der GenAI Skills Hub unterstützt dabei, Orientierung in dieser neuen Welt zu finden. |

| Differenzsensible Brille aufsetzen |
| Möchtest auch du in deiner Lehrtätigkeit Differenzverhältnisse, Ausschlüsse, Barrieren verstehen und diese abbauen? Ein hochschulübergreifendes Projekt hat dafür eine Webseite erstellt. Dort findest du kompakt aufgearbeitet Ideen, Wege und Impulse für eine differenzsensible und inklusive Lehre. |

| Wusstest du, dass das Wort "Emojis" nichts mit dem Wort "Emotion" zu tun hat? Der Begriff kommt vom Japanischen e ('Bild') + moji ('Schriftzeichen') 🤯. "Emoticons" hingegen ist ein Lehnwort aus dem Englischen ;). In der Emojipedia findest du alle Emojis im Unicode-Standard. Und wenn du experimentierfreudig bist, kannst du in der Emojikitchen lustige Kombinationen kreieren. |

| Future Founders and Fellows: Get in touch! |
| The Digitalization Initiative of the Zurich Higher Education Institutions (DIZH) is supporting early proof-of-concept projects by students and employees who have not yet founded a spin-off or start-up. Interested parties are invited to attend the info session on 13 May. You can submit your application until 21 August. |
|
|
We are also looking for new fellows at ZHAW digital. The programme is aimed at all professors, senior researchers, research assistants and PhDs who are intensively involved in pressing topics and questions of digital transformation in their research. The submission on the Grantplatform is open until 30 June. |

| This June 2 is all about education: The first EduImpulse Day offers practical insights, exciting discussions and new ideas. | Two years ago, the ZHAW actively regulated the use of AI in assessments with its own AI guidelines. Instead of banning AI, rules were drawn up to provide guidance. This approach has proved successful. However, the discussion surrounding the obligation to declare and the expected use of AI by students is constantly evolving. The GenAI Skills Hub helps find orientation in this new world. |
