| Partnerschaft mit dem AI House Davos |
| Die ZHAW ist neu eine akademische Partnerin des gemeinnützigen "AI House Davos". Dieses wurde 2023 von ETH AI Center und Merantix gegründet, um den Dialog und die Zusammenarbeit an sinnvollen, ethischen und nachhaltigen KI-Innovationen zu fördern. 2026 organisiert das AI House Davos vom 19. bis 23. Januar öffentliche Events zum Thema "A Human Intelligence Shift". Im Rahmen der Partnerschaft co-organisiert die ZHAW ein Event am 23. Januar. |

| Save the Date: Roboter in Davos |
| Vom 1. bis 4. Juli 2026 findet im Davos Kongresszentrum erstmals der Davos Tech Summit statt: ein neues Forum für Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Technologie rund um das Thema Physical AI. Wir organisieren den Event u.a. gemeinsam mit der ETH Zürich, Gemeinde Davos und FH Graubünden. Der Summit macht erlebbar, wie autonome Roboter mit Menschen interagieren und lernen. Welche Roboter und Anwendungsbereiche interessieren dich am meisten? |

| Hybride Infrastruktur für die Lehre |
| Die ZHAW denkt hybride Lehre neu: "Moderne Technik", klare didaktische Standards und interdisziplinäre Projekte sollen Studiengänge flexibler und attraktiver machen. | Transformative Education Fund zum Zweiten |
| In der zweiten TEF-Runde sind 32 Anträge aus sechs Departementen eingegangen. Dabei stiessen alle fünf vorgeschlagenen Themen auf Resonanz – am beliebtesten waren "Roboter und Physical AI" und "ZHAW als innovativer Lernraum". Die interdisziplinär zusammengestellten Teams lernen sich Anfang 2026 beim Kick-off-Event kennen. |

| Neuer, interaktiver ZHAW-Lageplan |
| Im Rahmen von myZHAW ist ein Minimal Viable Product für einen interaktiven Lageplan der ZHAW entwickelt worden – damit können alle Gebäude und Campusse direkt verlinkt, in Google Maps geöffnet sowie als Campus-PDF exportiert werden. Zu finden ist der Lageplan für Studierende zusätzlich in der myZHAW-App. |

| Blick in die Zukunft |
| 2026 steht schon vor der Tür. Was im neuen Jahr alles passieren wird, ist ungewiss, insbesondere wenn es um neue Technologien geht. Die Zeitschrift Wired kann zwar auch nicht die Zukunft vorhersagen, aber versucht sie zu verstehen – es geht z.B. um AI as Kink, Bubble oder Black Box. | Partnership with AI House Davos |
| The ZHAW is now an academic partner of the non-profit organisation “AI House Davos”. It was founded in 2023 by the ETH AI Center and Merantix to promote dialogue and collaboration on meaningful, ethical, and sustainable AI innovations. In 2026, AI House Davos is organising public events from 19 to 23 January on the topic of “A Human Intelligence Shift.” As part of the partnership, ZHAW co-organises an event on 23 January. |

| Save the date: Robots in Davos |
| The Davos Tech Summit will take place for the first time from 1 to 4 July 2026 at the Davos Congress Centre: a new forum for science, business, and technology around the topic of Physical AI. We are organising the event, among others, together with ETH Zurich, the municipality of Davos, and the FH Graubünden. The summit will showcase how autonomous robots interact and learn with humans. | The ZHAW is taking a fresh look at hybrid teaching: modern technology, clear teaching standards, and interdisciplinary projects are designed to make courses more flexible and attractive. | Another round of Transformative Education Fund |
| In the second round of TEF, 32 applications were received from six departments. All five proposed topics were well received, with “Robots and Physical AI” and “ZHAW as an Innovative Learning Space” being the most popular. The interdisciplinary teams will get to know each other at the kick-off event in early 2026. |

| New, interactive ZHAW site map |
| As part of myZHAW, a Minimum Viable Product has been developed for an interactive site map of the ZHAW – this allows all buildings and campuses to be linked directly, opened in Google Maps, and exported as a campus PDF. For students, the site map can also be found in the myZHAW app. |

| 2026 is just around the corner. What will happen in the new year is uncertain, especially when it comes to new technologies.
