Das Thermometer hat dieses Jahr bereits mehrmals die 30er-Marke geknackt – erfrische dich vom 1.-4. Juli am Davos Tech Summit in den Bergen, entdecke vielseitige Roboter oder hilf als Volunteer mit. Im Herbst steht eine neue, aber letzte Forschungsförderung von ZHAW digital an; schon jetzt kannst du deine Projektideen beim Rapid Action Call der DIZH einreichen. Und wer seine digitalen Kompetenzen ausbauen möchte, sollte sich den 31. August bis 3. September vormerken: Die Digital Skills Week geht in die nächste Runde!

| Digitale Skills für den Hochschulalltag |
| Unter dem Motto «Von Mitarbeitenden. Für Mitarbeitende. Gemeinsam digitale Kompetenzen stärken.» geht die Digital Skills Week in die zweite Runde. Vom 31. August bis zum 3. September erhältst du in Webinaren und Werkstätten Einblicke in digitale Themen und kannst neue Ansätze ausprobieren: Von KI im Hochschulalltag über digitale Tools und Automatisierung bis hin zu Verantwortung und Nachhaltigkeit. |

| Alles an einem Ort: der Digital Workplace |
| Keine Suche mehr in verschiedenen Tools, keine Umwege, kein «Wo war das nochmals?». Sondern alles im neuen Digital Workplace der ZHAW: der zentrale Einstiegspunkt in unseren digitalen Arbeitsalltag und Ablösung des heutigen Intranets. Der Launch ist für Q4 2027 geplant. |

| Neue ZHAW digital Forschungsförderung |
| Sechs Jahre ZHAW digital und Hunderte geförderte Forschungsprojekte. Aufgrund auslaufender Mittel wird es den Digital Futures Fund for Research (DFF) und das Fellowship-Programm so nicht mehr geben. Dafür einen neuen, letzten Call: Für interdisziplinäre Projekte in angewandter Forschung, die konkrete Herausforderungen der digitalen Transformation adressieren (offizielle Ausschreibung im Herbst 2026). |

| Volles Haus an der Digital Night |
| Am 27. Mai stand die Digital Night in Winterthur ganz im Zeichen von Physical AI und Agentic AI – einem unserer zentralen Themen dieses Jahres. An diesem Side Event des Davos Tech Summit diskutierten wir mit Expert:innen der ZHAW, ZHdK, ETH und Microsoft, wo KI heute schon echten Mehrwert liefert und wo die Erwartungen noch zu hoch sind. |

Das neue Corporate Design der ZHAW, das seit Mai 2025 schrittweise eingeführt wird, wird nun auch für digitale Plattformen und Applikationen umgesetzt - den Start macht die Website, die nun step by step adaptiert wird.

Dear reader,
The thermometer has already hit the 30-degree mark several times this year – cool off at the Davos Tech Summit in the mountains from 1st to 4th July, discover versatile robots, or help out as a volunteer. This fall, ZHAW digital is launching a new (and final) round of research funding; for now you can already submit your project ideas to the DIZH Rapid Action Call. And if you're looking to expand your digital skills, block your calendar from 31st August to 3rd September: the Digital Skills Week is back!

| With the motto “By staff. For staff. Strengthening digital skills together,” Digital Skills Week is back for its second edition. From August 31 to September 3, you’ll gain insights into digital topics through webinars and workshops and have the chance to try out new approaches: from AI in university life to digital tools and automation, on to responsibility and sustainability. |

| New ZHAW digital Research Funding |
| Six years of ZHAW digital and hundreds of funded research projects. Due to the expiration of funding, the Digital Futures Fund for Research (DFF) and the Fellowship Programme will no longer exist in their current form. Instead, there will be a new, final call for proposals: Interdisciplinary applied research projects that address specific challenges of digital transformation (official call for proposals in autumn 2026). |
